Online CBT Demonstration
This program allows you to "test drive" the computer-based testing system used at ACT Centers to deliver the ASE Certification tests. For best viewing, a 17" monitor with the display resolution set at 800x600 is recommended. However, monitors set at higher resolutions will also work fine. Also, the online demonstration requires you to use the mouse only; keyboard commands are not enabled. At the test center, you will be able to use both the mouse and the keyboard during CBT testing.

Important Tip!
If your screen resolution is set higher than 800x600, you'll still be able to "drive" the demo just fine. If you want to see the demo across more of your screen, just maximize the new window when it appears.

When you click on the link below, a new window will open displaying the online demonstration.The demonstration presents sample questions from a variety of ASE tests to allow you to practice the navigational controls of the computer-based tests, just as they will appear at the test centers. The demo is not an in-depth test of your automotive service knowledge, so the results are not scored.
