Once you have identified the areas in which you need additional training, find the training resources that best suit you. ASE has several sources for you to consider:
Image  Local community colleges and technical training schools - The schools on this list have been evaluated by NATEF (the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation) and certified by ASE. They provide instructor-led, hands-on training in multiple areas. Click here for the list of NATEF schools.

In-service training providers - The training providers on this list have been evaluated through a quality-assurance process called CASE (Continuing Automotive Service Education) and certified by ASE. They provide a variety of training programs, both instructor-led and self-directed. These training programs are typically aimed at increasing the knowledge of working professionals through continuing education. Click here for the list of CASE-approved training providers.

Image  Other test prep and training programs - ASE has not reviewed or approved the content of these training programs and test preparation guides. However, many test takers have used these over the years and found them to be helpful. Click here for links to other training providers.

Spanish language training - Technicians interested in ASE programs and industry training in bilingual format should view the “Español” section of the ASE website. Click here to view Spanish language information.
