Computer-Based Test Fees
Regular Tests
ASE charges a per-person registration fee, plus a test fee for each test requested. For computer-based testing, the fees are:

Recertification Tests
For recertification, the Test Fee is $38 per test (except L1R, which is $76) up to a $98 maximum per test administration, plus the $74 Registration Fee. So if you take multiple recertification tests in one CBT testing period (Winter or Summer), the most you will pay for those tests is $172 total (98 + 74). This price cap does not limit the number of recertification tests you may take, only the test fee you will pay for recertification tests.
NOTE: All fees for computer-based testing are non-refundable, and no credit is given for missed computer-based tests.
If you are unable to keep your test appointment and fail to reschedule at least two full business days before your appointment, you will forfeit all fees. All rescheduled tests must be taken during the same computer-based testing window. You cannot reschedule tests for future paper/pencil or CBT test administrations.
In addition, you must present a current (unexpired) school-or government-issued photo ID at the CBT test center, agree to the confidentiality agreement presented at the beginning of each test, and follow the standard ACT Center testing regulations during your tests. Failure to do so will cause your test scores to be cancelled, and you will forfeit all fees.
