1. How do I notify ASE if I change my address?

There are several ways to do so, depending on your preference:

  • Change it online through myASE by clicking here.
  • Submit the change online to ASE Customer Service by clicking here.
  • By mail, submit a change of address to: ASE, 101 Blue Seal Dr., S.E., Suite 101, Leesburg, VA  20175
  • Fax your change to (703) 669-6122. Please include your name, SSN, or ASE ID number, and the new address.
  • Call ASE Customer Service at 1-800-390-6789 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday.

2. I legally changed my name. How do I get my ASE certifications to reflect my new name?

To change the name on your credentials and ASE records, please submit a written request along with a copy of the legal paperwork granting the name change (i.e. official court documents, marriage certificate, etc.). You can get the “Name, SSN, or DOB Update Request Form” from the Download Forms page. There is no charge for updating your name in our records or status letters that show your new name and current status.

However, if you want a replacement display certificate with your new name, they cost $7.50 per test series. You can get the “Duplicate ASE Credentials Request Form” from the Download Forms page.
