ANAHEIM, Calif. – August 10, 2016 – I-CAR®, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair and ASE, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence announced a collaboration that align and build on I-CAR’s training and curriculum plus ASE’s testing and certification program.

2/4/2016 - New Requirement Coming for ASE Master Truck Techs

LEESBURG, VA, February 4, 2016  –  In response to changing Federal tracking and reporting standards, as well as industry requests, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) will be adding the Preventive Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) test (Test T8) to the requirements for ASE Master Truck Technicians. The new requirement will take effect on January 1, 2017. At that time, technicians will need to pass T8 along with the currently required tests (T2 through T7) to earn the Master Truck designation.
