ASE Education Foundation Names New Officers and Board Members

Leesburg, VA, January 10, 2019 – The ASE Education Foundation has announced the officers for its 2019 Board of Directors. The new Chair is Lenora Jackson, Manager, Technical Training Operations, American Honda Motor Co. Vice Chair Chris Wallace is the Technical Training Integration Manager at General Motors. Ted Hood, Director of Sales and Marketing – NAPA AutoCare Division, Genuine Parts Company, is the new Treasurer. Secretary is Donna Schaar, AVP Human Resources, CarMax.

Three new members have joined the Board: Brian LaCroix, Instructor at Capital Region (Albany, New York) BOCES Career and Technical School; Jonathan Collegio, Senior Vice President – Public Affairs, NADA; and Mitch Becker, Senior Technical Instructor, Abra.

Transitioning off the Board after years of valued service are Jim Anderson, Rich Diver, Sally Downey, Doug Greenhaus, Geri Kottschade, Mike Mulvihill, Joe Torchiana, and Dave Zellers.

The ASE Education Foundation works with over 2300 automotive technology training programs and over 50,000 students nationally to provide the transportation industry a viable workforce through standards and credentials for institutions, organizations and individuals.
