
The Partnership Powering ASE Connects
The idea for ASE Connects began with a simple question: Why isn’t there a single place to access reliable data on technician pay, benefits, labor rates, and other key industry metrics—data that you can view nationally and then drill down by location, shop type, and more?
That question quickly led to another: Why isn’t there one platform, with up-to-date contact information, that connects every school in the country with shops, dealerships, and industry partners who want to support the next generation of technicians?
To build and manage something this comprehensive, it needed to be led by an industry leader who works across all segments of the industry. It required an entity that could maintain independence, protect sensitive data, and share a commitment to strengthening and growing the technician workforce.
ASE is in a unique position to lead this effort, serving the automotive, diesel, and collision industries and working closely with independents, dealerships, fleets, schools, manufacturers, and every corner of the industry. WrenchWay had already begun developing many of these efforts and brings the technology and membership-building expertise needed to power a connected, engaged community.
Together, we’re launching ASE Connects to strengthen technician careers and support the businesses behind them. This is just the beginning—the product features and the community itself will continue to grow and evolve based on the needs of its members.
